It was a try to discuss a role of porn in modern world. I am sure that this role differs from the porn in pre-internet era (where I am from).  Huge amount of porn and easy access to it has altered a mankind slightly (advanced part of it, where traditions and religions are dissociated, being replaced by new toys) . As former biologist I see a noticeable decreasing of birth rate in countries of mature economies (and good internet access). Porn acts in complex with "child free" movement, LGBT and feminism. It's nice way to control Malthusian growth of population, better, than wars and plague.

If you are older than 45 years, you have to remember the main fear of those years: the fear of over-population. Exhaustibility of resources, threat of hunger, irretrievable damage of environment (btw, green movement was born in these days, 60's - 80's). What we have now? Our concerns were void. Well, we won, don't we?

But today I am not going to discuss it again.

I was sure that we live in happy time when picture of naked woman (or man) is not something scandalous, unusual or abnormal. So now we may concentrate at pure psychological impressions or at pure artistic features. Lines, colors, anatomy. Personal flashbacks. Nude nature  stopped to be something improper or indecent. To be honest it stopped to be such in XIV century, in Renaissance, but not for all.

But last months I see an ocean of plain porn at dA Artistic Nude gallery. Sometimes it's very low grade porn. Proctological and gynecological atlases are better, because they are useful for physicians. But what's a purpose of these pictures here? To jerk? It's nice, but there are a zillion of porn sites, dA was not declared as one of them.

If somebody can explain me an artistic value of pictures with anuses/vulvas/penises close-up, I'll be thankful
