The only critique I have is the background. It's pretty obviously photoshoped, especially in the upper righthand corner. It's a bit distracting from the subject. Other than that, it may be an old idea, but it's still a great shot. Nice work.

I strongly agree with you - background was moulded a moment ago (a couple of mouse clicks). I realize that it's a kinda kitsch - too bright, too candy... but it seems to me - this variant (cheap naive postcard) can exist too. It associates with style of teenagers' blogs. And it is a style too.
